The school was founded by Mrs. Antoinette Ehizogie Nwanoneze, a highly trained education and childcare professional.

She is a certified Paediatric Nurse and Montessori Directress, with academic training from Middlesex University, United Kingdom, and over a decade of professional experience as a Paediatric Nurse at King’s College Hospital, London.

Her extensive background in child development, healthcare, and early childhood education laid a strong foundation for the school’s child-centred philosophy, nurturing approach, and high standards of care.

Russell International School operates under the distinguished chairmanship of Chief Benedict Chidi J. Nwanoneze, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. He brings vast experience in usiness Administration, Management, and International Relations, having studied and trained in the United Kingdom, including at Buckingham University. His visionary leadership and global outlook continue to shape the school’s strategic direction, governance, and commitment to international best practices in education.
